WHAT WE STAND FOR

Community-Driven Leadership for a Safer, Healthier, More Equitable Shelby County.
Jevonte is ready to bring that same energy, experience, and vision to the Shelby County Commission. His campaign for District 12 is grounded in four pillars that reflect the needs and hopes of every resident:
•  Education & Families: Fighting for fully funded schools, early childhood education, mentorship, and family support programs, because every child deserves a world-class education, and every family deserves to thrive.
•   Healthcare Access: Expanding community clinics, mobile health units, and mental health services, because no one should have to choose between their health and their bills.
•   Safe Neighborhoods: Investing in youth programs, violence prevention, community policing, and neighborhood revitalization, because every street should be a safe street.
•   Economic Power: Creating pathways to living-wage jobs, supporting small and Black-owned businesses, and advocating for workforce equity, because opportunity should never be out of reach.
Jevonte Porter is not just a candidate—he is a voice for the people.
He’s not running to make promises, he’s running to make progress. Porter for the People means standing up for your family, your health, your safety, and your future. District 12 deserves bold leadership that listens, responds, and delivers.
